About
TTG Builders

My career in real estate is focused on four areas: real estate sales, appraising homes, residential property management, and home building.

  • As a licensed real estate agent, I have a proven track record of helping clients find or sell their home.
  • As a property manager, I own and manage 10 Indianapolis rental units.
  • As a home builder, I build spec homes throughout downtown Indianapolis, having built over 130 in my career.
  • As an appraiser, I am always exposed to other real estate transactions and understand property values in a broad area of Indiana, Urban, Suburban, and Rural.

My Unique Experience Makes the Difference

I began working in construction in 1992, initially working small commercial jobs. As I became more experienced, I transitioned into residential home building and owned Minkis Construction Company beginning in 1995. I have 27 years of construction experience from commercial, single family, multi family, remodels, flips, and spec house builds. I learned I had an affinity for design, build, and contracting work. I loved the process of starting with a piece of land and blueprints on a page and watching something becoming three dimensional. Touching every aspect of the building process has been instrumental in all facets of the work I do because it has given me a deep level of understanding of construction, and that is extremely valuable in both real estate and residential property management. My greatest passion is partnering with my clients to find their home, whether that is buying their first home, fifth home, or renting one of my residential properties. I have found that there is nothing like helping someone find the home of their dreams.

TESTIMONIALS

What Our Clients Say

As a landlord, Sherry’s best quality was being upfront and transparent with us. If something in our living area needed to be addressed or updated, she made sure that it was a benefit to us, and that it would work on our terms and schedules. That’s something that is by no means required, but she wanted to make sure it was a benefit to all parties.
Sherry was responsive day and night, after hours, and on weekends. If we had an issue, we could reach out with a simple text or call and she would have possible solutions back to us quickly. With Sherry’s background in all forms of buildings and construction, we knew she would find the best solution and one that was not a band-aid fix that would be an issue for us as tenants again down the road. –

I am 100% recommending Sherry to everyone who will listen! Throughout the entire process of me purchasing my first home, she was the stellar combination of knowledgeable, available, and professional. I felt so trusted with her leading me through the process, as I had never done this before and was nervous to make an uninformed decision, especially related to the physical structure of a house. Thankfully Sherry has so much construction and home building experience that she had a keen eye on every property we looked into. When the time came to put in an offer on the perfect home, she swiftly submitted what was needed and really went to bat for me and secured me my home (over numerous other offers)! Her extensive experience and wonderful personality can’t be beat. –

Grace, Real Estate Client

Sherry recently helped me both sell my previous home and find my new home. I felt so comfortable working with her knowing the depth and breadth of her real knowledge. In addition to having been a licensed real estate agent for xx years, Sherry previously owned a construction company, and all her building experience greatly benefited me during our time looking for a new home and preparing to sell my previous home. She has strong construction knowledge and provides expertise beyond what most realtors are able to provide. I could tell that helping her clients, whether buying or selling, gives Sherry the sincere satisfaction. She was deeply interested in my individual needs and kept what was important to me at the center of everything. Sherry is fiercely protective of her clients and worked diligently to ensure that my interests were paramount throughout the process. –

Kirsten, Estate Client

As first-time homebuyers, Sherry was an absolute dream agent to have on our side. There are so many micro and macro things to think about when looking at homes. Sherry made sure we did not overlook anything when finding our first home. After looking at a few homes, Sherry told us that she could put her “mom hat” on and give us her advice if we felt comfortable with it on a particular house. We absolutely wanted that level of care and compassion in helping us with such a large decision.

Sherry’s background and knowledge of residential and commercial construction is another invaluable skill she brings as an agent. She knew what to look for when we went to showings, she knew quality work, and had contacts with all kinds of skilled labor professionals that we could tap to ask for advice for any additional questions.

Sherry is also ready to help at a moment’s notice. We’ve purchased two homes with her now and both were houses that went up on the market in the morning, we put in offers in the afternoon, and had accepted offers that same day or the next. It’s something needed in today’s market with the pace at which quality homes move. Sherry was willing to, and on multiple occasions, set up viewings and met us at possible homes at the drop of a hat. The first home we bought, my wife couldn’t leave work so she only saw it on a Facetime call with Sherry and myself! That’s how much trust we put in Sherry and her expertise. She also will go to bat for you in situations that normal home buyers do not deal with regularly. When something that needed to be fixed before the closing on our home wasn’t done to a quality she felt comfortable with, she called a handyman she trusted and asked for a quote on how much it should cost to do it right. We were able to get that amount of money at closing from the seller, and without Sherry’s knowledge of all aspects of homebuying, we would have been stuck with poor workmanship on something we thought was fixed correctly.
